A full evening piece. Coming soon.
"Black" explores the darkside that exists in all of us, even the most enlightened human beings. Without the darkness within us we cannot have any light, and without the darkness light cannot exist.
“Gray” is a piece, in collaboration with my dancers that was inspired by Michael Ende’s book “Momo". The piece reflects upon time and the lack thereof in today's society. The piece also represents the loss of family and friends that is caused by the rushing that encompasses our lives especially here in New York City.
Into the River
Based on the philosophy of Heraclitus, Into the River describes the ebbs and flows of life that everyone experiences, "Heraclitus concluded that nature is change. Like a river, nature flows ever onwards. Even the nature of the flow changes".
One of the Heraclitus Project's first pieces and inspired by the Matrix, The Box is a critique to society and how we have lost our individuality in favor of what is expected of us through society.
